Project Overview

This project was developed as part of a collaborative course in the Interactive Media Design program, where the objective was to design and build a website representing the program itself.

The website serves as a digital showcase of the Interactive Media Design experience — highlighting student work, program structure, and creative output. Designed and developed by a team, the project simulates a real-world agency workflow where multiple disciplines come together to create a cohesive digital product.

The focus was not only on the final outcome, but also on the process of collaboration — bringing together design, development, and content to produce a unified and functional website.

My Role

I worked as the Lead Designer, while also contributing to the development process.

As the lead designer, I was responsible for establishing the overall visual direction, creating layout systems and typography consistency, ensuring a cohesive design language across all pages, and guiding design decisions throughout the project.

Alongside this, I supported development by helping translate design concepts into functional components, ensuring that the final implementation stayed true to the original vision. This role required balancing creative leadership with collaboration — aligning the team while remaining adaptable to feedback and iteration.

Reflection

This project sharpened my ability to lead design within a collaborative, hybrid team. I focused on maintaining visual consistency through clear communication and regular feedback loops. By bridging the gap between aesthetics and technical implementation, I learned to balance creative vision with practical development, ensuring a cohesive final product.
